WEBSITE VIEWING QUESTIONS Why
do I only see a small part of your web page on my screen?
Your monitor's screen resolution is set too low. On PCs,
right click on your desktop (don't click on any icons) and choose
Properties. Next click on the Settings tab. Now you should
see an area in this dialog box that says Screen resolution.
Depending on your monitor's capabilities, video card, and software
drivers, you should be able to select what your pixel resolution
is. If you're having trouble viewing our website, you're screen
resolution is probably set at 800x600 or less. Try stepping it up
to at least 1024x768 or higher and hit OK or Apply (depending on your
equipment and operating system, you may need to reboot your
machine). Here at Sandplay Toys, we set our monitors at
1152x864. This gives us plenty of monitor screen real estate
without the tiny icons and font size. I
don't want to change my screen resolution but I can't seem to find the
scroll bar on the right so I can move the screen up and down. How
do find the scroll bar?
Well, this is a tough question. Some browsers, like AOL,
have so many onscreen icons, buttons, and dialog boxes, it's sometimes
hard to see the scroll bar. In fact, if you have a small monitor
(less than 17") and are running at lower resolutions, sometimes the
edges of the page can actually run off the edges of your screen.
Depending on your monitor, you can remedy this by adjusting your monitor
hardware settings and shrink the edges of the screen. Another
solution would be to check for a bottom or horizontal scroll bar.
See if you can move it left or right until the right or vertical scroll
bar is visible. Other than changing the screen resolution, this
may be the only solution for AOL users with small monitors. What
if I put the items I want in my shopping cart but decide I don't want to
purchase my figures yet, can I save my shopping cart?
Absolutely you can! But you do need to have your cookies
set to accept cookie information.
To do this in Internet Explorer 6, go to Tools on the menu bar at the
top, then click on the Privacy tab and choose Medium on the slide
bar. Or click on Edit... and type in the box titled Address of Web
site: sandplay-toys.com and click Allow.
To do this in Netscape 7.1, go to www.sandplay-toys.com
first. Then go to Tools and choose Cookie Manager.
Then choose Unblock Cookies From This Site. You can also check
Managed Stored Cookies and click on the Cookie Sites to see that www.sandplay-toys.com
is in your cookie sites list. Where
can I get the latest web browsers?
Internet
Explorer 6 can be downloaded by clicking on the E icon to the
left. The recommended system configuration to use Internet
Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 is Microsoft Windows®
2000, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), or Microsoft
Windows NT® on a computer running with a Pentium
III processor and 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM. For more information
about minimum system requirements, click
here. Netscape
Navigator 7.1 can be downloaded by clicking on the N icon to the
